Community Service
Service projects form the core of our community commitment. We address issues in education, healthcare, the environment, and social equity. By engaging members directly, we help create real improvements in people's lives.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, available during both day and evening hours.
Our History
Since 1913, the St. Petersburg Woman’s Club has offered women a space to connect and contribute to the community. Founded with fourteen members, the club soon joined the Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs, supporting various early civic projects. In 1924, SPWC also became part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) and incorporated to own property. Today, the club continues its tradition of community improvement through volunteer service—truly Living the Volunteer Spirit.
